My wife and I experience was nothing short of amazing. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish we ordered was prepared and presented with such care and attention to detail, rivaling the standards of any five-star hotel.I had the Jordanian Mansaf, and let me tell you, it was as authentic as it could possibly be—rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My wife chose the lamb biryani, and it was equally exquisite, with every bite showcasing the chef’s mastery of spices and textures. As a previous restaurant owner myself, I was thoroughly impressed, it is an absolute gem, a must-visit for anyone who appreciates authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. The quality, authenticity, and warm ambiance make it stand out as a truly remarkable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Damasca serves some of the best Syrian food I have ever had. Their portions are huge and the quality is excellent. We had mansaf for our main dish which is a lovely lamb dish with rice and a rich sauce made from aged yoghurt. For starters we had tabbouleh and kibbeh. We had so much food we had to take half of it home. First time here. Midweek evening. Clean, spacious place. Not much of an atmosphere but maybe because it was a bit empty. Decor slightly basic and cool. Mocktails were great. (No alcohol served which was great.) Had Damascan mixed grill and assorted hot starters. Taste was very good, portion size fine, but it wasn't very hot - lukewarm at most. And the restaurant itself was freezing! That made the food go colder very quick. I noticed everyone else was sitting in their outdoor coats (it was zero degrees out so they were warm wrapped up). Asked the waitress if it was always this cold and she says she'd tried to get it warmer but there was a draft stopping it getting warm. She (Ayah) was excellent by the way. Toilets were spotless which is a plus.If they could get the restaurant temperature up and the food temperature up it would be great. Please turn up the temperature! Your diners and food are cold. I hope to come back for a warmer meal.
